Anyone else feeling miserable

I'll be up at Windermere for a week or so at the end of Jan on my boat. The weather can do what it likes.

Long Haul flights over Christmas can be expensive, less so if you fly on Christmas day or Boxing day, but when you're there can be quite reasonable costs. We've tried S Africa x2, Chile, Thailand, NZ ( not so cheap), this year is Cambodia & Vietnam.

I arrived in Vietnam on New Years Day 2017, spent a month travelling, 2,800 miles. Saw most of the country, much warmer in the south than Hanoi but it was the friendliest country I have visited and the cheapest. Highly recommended for a winters break.
This January I need to work, rebuilding a Steinway Grand Piano. Then I can afford a longer break next winter.
