Anyone crossing the Atlantic this year?

Hi All,

I'm new here. Is there anyone on the Liveaboard forum that will be crossing the Atlantic this year? I'm looking to cross myself by sea for the first time and would be interested in discussing hitching a lift with someone. I'm very willing to contribute to the crossing along the way as well as pay towards costs.
I'm currently based in the UK.

Try looking on here http://oceancrewlink.com/ Run by World Cruising Club, organisers of the ARC that starts at the end of November. You won't find many boats crossing before then as it is now Hurricane season.

You could join the Cruising Association, they have a good forum for skippers looking for crew, and crew looking for skippers.

Just go to the website www.theca.org.uk and look under crewing. I think it's £25 per year to register as crew but we've had crew from there and it works well. We've recently met skippers who have got crew through crewseekers and they were also pleased. Good luck!
