I have had a look and does seem well priced. You have a choice to pay through paypal which is well protected, but they also have a phone number to call and order through. Pay by credit card if you are unsure, also well protected that way. IMO I would happily order from them...

They have some good prices on fenders which I am looking for but if I haven't used a site before, I usually look at the contact details. They haven't bothered to fill it in so no physical address. Also click on 'rope' The site does not look complete.

Do you think it is safe to use?

The site is not compliant with UK legislation on company identification on websites. The nominet registration record suggests that this site might just be an seo device to help the parent site, nautequipe.co.uk - but that site is also not compliant. Personally, I'd give it a miss.

Never used bargain ropes & fenders but I've bought from Nautequippe many times and been very happy with both prices, service and delivery. They also sell thru ebay a lot and I have had another purchase just this week and it was very quickly delivered and lots cheaper than elsewhere. Nautequippe have been in business for quite a few years and operate out of Hartlebury Worcs.

I've no association with the company

Looking at the Nautequipe site, the phone no is the same as the rope and fenders site, although that site too has some missing pages.

Have just looked at this from Compass Watersports (if you buy 4 fenders) http://www.compass24.com/web/catalog/shop/technics_chandlery_fenders/4858372 and have spoken to them as I want six but they said I would have to pay a higher unit price for the extra two as I would be buying singles.

I declined to accept their kind offer so may try ringing the Nautequipe/Rope and Fender No and see how I feel about giving them my Credit Card No. They are reputable Majoni fenders.

Apparently you can pay through "Paypal" so there is some safety guarantee (I hope) Very good prices.

Fenders and mooring lines

I saw this post on Tuesday and decided to try them out. They were delivered this moring and exactly as described.
Happy customer.

Just spoken to a very helpful lady on the phone. Seemed very kosher to me. Warp prices are incredible.

I think Tom Smith Bouys fenders are cheaper. Bought some of these last year and have been very happy with the quality.

I have bought from nautequipe several times. I ordered some seat pedestals for my old boat which turned out to be out of stock, so I got a phone call the next day to ask if I would mind the more expensive fully adjustable ones instead for the same price as they couldnt be sure how long I would have to wait. well duh? next day they arrived. above and beyond customer service I would say.

Well my lines arrived within 48 hour out to the Hebrides just as described so I can give them a thumbs up, a new set of fenders next I think.
