Am looking to do a 10day south coast cruise between Portsmouth and Weymouth, starting Tomorrow eve and ending back end of next week.

Weather is looking good for this week but does anyone know what is likely to happen next?

Cheers

Wayne

Looks potentially a bit gruesome. Inevitable really as we've finally found a diary window for our much delayed trip to the scillies.

Look at the depression tracking our way from Thursday on here

Try here. They have Met and USAF synoptic charts through to 132 hours hence (1200UTC Sunday). Look at the bottom of the page and select UK Met Charts. Looks like the low either fills or bombs off north east - can't tell which is which without going through all of them.

Wet

The low that hit us last week is still wandering around up north and others keep coming across. It is hard to believe today, but it looks a bit like this week is going to be a slow motion replay of last week, at least as rainy but maybe less windy. The low is coming in on Thursday followed by a little ridge Friday/Saturday, then more rain to come after that as far as I can see from the charts.

I doubt you'll find anyone who'll be more precise than "Continuing unsettled with depressions and fronts crossing the country at regular intervals". Or "Autumnal" as we used to call it.
