Anybody know \"Haika\" and \"Occy\" in Hollyhead?

hi folks....does anybody have contact details for a Westerly by the name of Occy, and a yacht called Haika - both on moorings in Hollyhead, Wales ? I'm trying to contact them to thank them for a good deed on the water a couple of weeks ago....

There's "Occy Octopus" at Holyhead SC. I'm sure if you write to Holyhead SC, Newry Beach, Holyhead, Anglesey, North Wales LL65 1YD you can have a message passed on. You'll understand I can't give you more information.
Holyhead SC tel: 01407 762526.

Hi guys,
sorry for the late reply ... been away over the weekend. Thanks Heigaro for the Hollyhead SC info - I'll try contact them via the Sailing Club.

Yes, I was with the band of eejits trapsing around Hollyhead in the wind and lashings of rain recently - led astray by Derek the priest and Little ship. Thinkses was there too - baptised on his first cruise (by the weather, not the priest!), and us only on our second.

We had a whale of a time despite (and sometime because of) the weather - the people of wales were fantastic. I'm looking forward to going back there sometime soon - a lovely cruising ground.

Kawasaki sounds familiar - I think Tom mentioned your name at some point when we talked about YBW. Tell him to stick a rubber bungee on his camera next time !

best regards,
Aidan.

Have a gander at some of the photos on ....
