Anybody going to the Easter Used Boat Show at Swanwick Marina (or any others)

Hi all

I have managed to stopover in the UK for a week on my way to sunny Switzerland (Brrrrr). I found this boat show, are there any others?

Also, if are any of you going to this boat show, I am going on Friday and it would be good to say hi and drink a hot something or other whilst we shiver

If visiting Swanwick you can always take a look around the nearby marinas - Hamble Point, Port Hamble, and Mercury all have good brokerage displays, and not too far, plus Universal at Sarisbury Green. Don't forget to visit Fairline office across from Swanwick marina by the road bridge.

A bit further afield are Shamrock Quay Southampton and Port Solent near Potsmouth. Not shows as such but with a few hours you would have time to visit all these, and plenty of boats to be seen.

Thanks, I used to live in Southampton...well Netley Abbey...only there for 6 weeks as I got a job abroad, was sad to leave. I didn't know about half of those places you mentioned. I'll take a wander and see how long I last in the ice

Hi Tender_aft - funny you should mention the Swanwick boat show...our boat's in it We're around on Friday, so PM me if you want to meet up, or fancy a cappucino onboard. (And if you're planning on wandering around boat yards, I hope you've got some thermals...must feel like Siberia after coming from 35C!
