Anybody else learning about how to sail from "Below Deck Sailing Yacht" ?

Have very recently and remarkably changed my mind about sailing, always thought it was about being getting frozen and soaked, spending life at 45 degrees and going round in circles getting in the way of motorboats..............
Have also mentioned to SWMBO about my thoughts regards the age profile of my crew.
