for those who keep boating all year , do you have any planned trips.

Yarmouth carols in a couple of weeks.

And if it gets sub zero the water in marina pipes freezes, so we can't use our Farrow machine.
That always makes a spontaneous boating day.

Wow, good luck.
Jan is possibly the worst month to wait for a weather window around the Ligurian and Tyrrhenian sea...
Unless you don't mind the risk of a long wait, I'd rather bring the boat there now.

I never really plan any trips as most are fairly spontanious, basically i say thats it i'm off, then decide where to go, or go anywhere and see where i end up.

When and where does this happen? SWMBO might fancy a night in Yarmouth for that.

December 10th. Carol Concert in the square. Last year we left when the soloist started singing. Then gate crash whoever is hosting in the Marina ;-)

I should also add it's now winter rates at Yarmouth.

Yup, I've just moved my boat to northern Italy in the Adriatic because it's easier to get maintenance done there. So we're planning an early trip next year to Venice before moving the boat south to Croatia again. I've been to Venice a few times but never visited by sea so I'm really looking forward to it

It's not until the evening. I doubt many of us will be there by 3pm. I too have booked online.
I'll be flying the forum burgee when it's safe to come over.

I suppose that mid of July is a tad late for an "early trip", but just FYI, going by boat at the so called "Festa del Redentore" in Venice has been one of my most remarkable boating experiences EVER. Highly recommended.
