St Kats have mucked up our booking for bank holiday, tried Limehouse but they're full as well.
So where do we go from Friday to Monday, cruising speed a heady 14 knots from the Medway?
Any printable suggestions greatly received as I'm now in trouble with the voluptuous Cheryl and she's witholding rights until resolved!

Hi

We are based at St Kats and looking to give the boat a bit of a run over the bank holiday weekend - where exactly are you based, we can do a swap for the weekend if the powers that be allow it!

Thanks for the replies everyone, Chelsea harbour it is. Seemed very helpful and pleasant.
Thanks for the offer Christian but at low tide we often sit on the finest Medway clay, presume you'd rather not.
As for the grey thing, I've probably got the worst crew in the world, in fact she's won prizes for it.
Once again, thanks.

Would love to, only trouble is we have an Albert and they won't let him back in except through a recognised route and not enough time to organise it now.
Good idea though.

Thanks for the offer Tom, we will get there soon but I'm afraid it was a tough choice and Chelsea just about edged it (actually I had no choice at all due to my beloved)
Now how do I keep her away from the Kings Road and especially Jimi Choo's emporium?

all I can say is take your credit cards and make sure tehy are topped up !

You are on your own.

I will be fishing in Sandgate creek and if swmbo is good I will let her spend some money on Bait !

Tom

Chelsea is good although not the same buzz as StKats, but peace and quiet can be good too. They free flow at high water so no long drawn out locking in process. They often have space out on the pontoon but you will get bounced around so I would go into the marina. A couple of good restaurants in the complex plus the Conrad hotel and Kings Road a short walk. I think there is a Fox & Firkin type pub on the corner just outside as well. There is also a supermarket not too far away if you need more supplies; walk out on the road closest to the river going upstream. Have a good time.

Thanks for that, we've arranged to arrive and leave at high water (07.30 on Monday).I enjoyed St Kats last time we were there but did find the amount of time they took to operate the lock a tad frustrating, compared to Eastbourne for instance.
Any way I can make the walk to Kings Road longer?
