Can anybody recommend a sail-maker local(ish) to the Bristol / Portishead area that could take a look at the tear we put into the luff our of Westerly Griffin's genoa this afternoon and tell us if it's repairable?

Marcus at Bristol sails has done some good work for me in the past. They are next to Force 4 near Bristol marina. R & J sails in Clevedon are also very good. They have moved recently so I'm not sure where they are now.

Thanks guys. Following Allan's post, I tried Bristol Sails this morning and they were engaged, then R&J Sails, who may have moved but are still in Clevedon. Got through to Dick Hannaford at R&J, explained the damage and said we really wanted to get back out on the water next weekend. He said that if I could get the sail to him by lunchtime, if it was repairable then he'd fix it whilst I waited.

He did a fantastic job, and at a very fair price. We're going to need a new sail at some point later this year, but for now we're back on the water :)
