What might be a cunning way to post the auction is to ask for a short poem to add to your advert, inviting forumites to view the boat at (URL) to help them compose the ditty.

Not sure you've quite got the hang of this.
What you do is to post a message saying something like: "I have just put my cherished dayboat up for sale on Ebay (details at [--place url here--]). I wonder if any Forumites would care to give me an idea of the kind of price I ought to accept"? /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
