I was following a blog of the rebuild of a Dunkirk little ship, built by A R Luke of Hamble, finished by Camper Nicholson. Was Glala, but not I think Mahalia.

Looked like the rebuild had stalled.

Came up for sale with Stanley and Thomas and seems to have sold.

Anyone know if there's progress?

My only interest is that I remember her in Southampton as a houseboat.

Glala has indeed changed ownership. Sadly, Simon the previous owner, ran out of umph and, I think, money, and has recently passed away. My partner and I have bought her and we will update the website. For the moment though we have to assess the work that has been done, and possibly re-do some of it. She had been left uncovered for a number of years and really needs to be recaulked and got back in the water as soon as we can. Her decks may also need recaulking...
If you have any information or better still pictures of her that would be good!

Thank you for the update. Sorry, no pics.

I spoke to the Stanley and Thomas lady at TTBR, she said new owners very keen. A great, worthwhile project. Good luck.
