Any near Dover planning booze cruise?

there's a forumite over on PBO looking for help to bring a dog back from Calais. If I had more time, I would have done it, but I'm stuffed at the weekends for the foreseeable and have no time off work at the mo.

I'm planning booze cruise, but in the boat...which isn't helpful.

if I were him, I'd stop posting about it and just sail in, I have not heard of any interest being shown in dogs or cats on yachts which have come into Dover, as I speak there is an enormous hound on a Dutch boat which has arrived from Boulogne.

well last seen walking with owner towards a local hostelry, if that constitutes landing.

In the five years I've been in Dover, I have not seen any evidence of any official interest being shown towards animals on boats, and the port is heavily policed and cameraed, I think they've got more important things to deal with.
