I can't be the only one! Is anyone the proad owner of one of these Swedish long keel classics? I have owned mine since last year and am gradually making improvements - it would be great to chat to other owners!

Thanks,

Tom

Owned one until 2001 when I changed to a Southerly (more suitable for an elderly couple). We really enjoyed the Marieholm 32E and met several up in Holland but only two others in the Solent/South Coast area. Tried to find out what I could about Marieholms whilst I owned her, so, if you have any queries, it is possible I could point you in the right direction. However all the papers for the marieholm were passed on to the new owner.

I probably bought one of the ones you are thinking of. It was moored in Lymington. I keep it in Birdham Pool in Chichester. If I spoke Swedish I would have plenty of info at my finger tips!

I am most interested seeing a really sorted version - as I am slowly improving mine. I did see one for sale about 18 months ago - I am not sure where it is now though.

You didn't fit an autohelm by any chance - if so what type?

Thanks!

Tom

PS Do you ever get the hang of going in reverse?

Hi,
I know it's been a long time since the original post. However since yesterday I am also an owner of a Marieholm 32e. They seem more popular in Scandinavia and Holland.
They seem to be a well found boat, with full keel - I like that the keel is part of the boat, rather than a bolt on afterthought.
If anyone owns one do write. Maybe creating a facebook page might do well. They seem to have made blue water passages eg google: S/Y Thalassa
However infomation in English is hard to find.

Hope to hear from someone

Dan

Hello and welcome.

I used to have a Marieholm IF boat and might well have bought a 32 if the right boat had come along. I have a short review of the boat from 1977 and a couple of other things that might be of interest. Nothing very exciting but if you give me a PM - Personal Message, with your postal address I will send them on.

Your boat is not called Bonijo by any chance?

Hello, I am looking for any historical information anyone may have on 1974 Marieholm 32 named 'Windrush' which is currently for sale in the UK. The current owner has little historic documentation. I am aware she apparently sailed from Europe to the USA and spent some time in the US then sailed back to Europe. I have checked the SSR number I have been given, but the Registry records for the vessel only go back as far as 2009. I wondered if any other owners may have any information which might be helpful or advice on where to look further would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hello everyone, Stefano here from Italy. Just joined the forum. And just bought a 1977 Marieholm 32E...I fell in love at first sight...but as others I have issues in finding information/material on this model. Any owner still around? As previously mentioned, would be great to know if any "owner group" exists.

To Morton. Hi, have seen the advert, but despite asking for clarifications to the seller I got no answer. In the end, I thought the 32E was a better built version and went for it
