I have a pair of 135hp Centurion turbo diesel aircraft engines, they are complete with turbos, anciliaries and shaft gearboxes. Im not really sure what to do with them as they cannot be flown again. They are all aluminium so lightweight and have run less that 150hrs each. Does anyone fancy a swish and rather unique motorboat installation? For reference they will run either diesel or Jet A1 (64p per litre and smells much nicer).

Put a question on the "fly past "forum and say you want to know what aircraft they came for and would anyone like them!Should get you some interest!!!

Why can't they be flown with only 150hrs? Shockloaded after a wheels up landing?
They probably came from an early Diamond DA42. If they are the 1.7 they are almost certainly junk, had an appalling record in service. The 2.0 which followed was better, much better but the work to make a FADEC controlled aircraft engine work in a boat would be immense.

Get some bits of corrugated iron and make an air boat . Engines will be in their element skimming the water with a second hand prop!:)
