Any good techniques for keeping the pram hood plastic screen clear?

Has anyone found a product or technique that helps keep the plastic windows clear on a pramhood. Mine are in good nick but fogged with salt.

I half remember someone recommending a product that is made for car windows that sheds the water.

Can anyone help?

You can get the stuff for foldy down sports car windows from somewhere like Halfords, it works very well. Sheds the water and rubs out the scratches at half the price of the marine equivalent-now there's a surprise!

if you mean "Rain-Ex" it is not recommended for my Stratoglas windows

Thanks for the advice, I shall take care to use a mild soap only. I was thinking of Rain Ex and I am glad I asked on here as it appears to damage vinyl.

There is some good advice on the Strataglass site about using a heat gun or hairdryer to remove waves or clouding.

I wax my topsides once a month. One month i tried it on the pram windows, spotless, and i mean spotless.

Allthough, by far, not the cheapest.......

We use Turtle Wax Metallic (blue bottle) on recommendation. Seems to work well.

Haven't tried it yet as I have new windows but local sprayhood manufacturer says to use WD40.
