Any events and rallies over the next couple of weeks?

Hi all, Would appreciate any recommendations re events worth seeing in the Thames esturary over the next couple of weeks? I am going to sail round from Hamble hoping to visit most places between Burnham and Lowestoft and it would be great to catch any of the traditional boat rallies or other events. Planning to arrive 24/25 August for two weeks.

Southend Barge Match 25th August from 1000 see here

How about Maritime Woodbridge, 8-9 September?

Not sure on your timescales but I went to a similar event at Woodbridge last year and it was very interesting, but it was a sunny day!

Burnham week racing starting on the 25th.

Manningtree Regatta on 2-3 Sept. Racing in the afternoon each day and mud game on Sunday morning. Just keep sailing up the Stour until you can sail no further and you will find us. Couple of visitors mooring and a quay at either Mistley or Manningtree.

Many thanks for the recommendations will be starting with the barge match really looking foward it and to sailing the east coast again after many years.
