I am in the process of researching oil for the gearbox in the car and came across this company

http://www.smithandallan.com/

and wonder if people had an opinion on their oils?

I also found this oil and seems very suitable for my mercedes om636 in the boat

and was seeking opinions.

Sorry to ask I know oils have been done to death, but curiosity has the better of me.

Thanks in advance.

I have found their service to be first rate as are their prices (especially the 25l size). As for their oils - seem as good as any I have previously used, they certainly have not upset my engine.

+1
I have used them for a number of years..... excellent prices for bulk.
Fantastic knowledge of their products and a good range for older engines. I have always been impressed with their service and quality of product.

I've used them several times for axle oil for the Jeep. Good service & prices. They list on EBay.

Oil slick.

Fast service and good oil - slick in fact. Recommended for oil which is relatively difficult to find like SAE 140 gear oil for the Seagull.
