I nearly added that at the time of posting but thought - nahhhhhhhh /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Tide table says HW today 4.4 mtrs, Sotonmet says HW was actually 5 mtrs, this is affect of high S or SW winds and low air pressure.

Best go check the boat tonight!

Nah - wusses weather! Not interesting or challenging enough /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Seriously though, whilst there wasn't a forecasted F12 in North Wales, F12 gusts did appear actually in Pwllheli Marina the year before last. Tore off most of the canopies that had been left on the boats, exept for mine /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif Good old "Canvasman" quality build. Top bloke! The whole Marina and hard area was a right mess. It "calmed down" to a steady F10 for the remainder of the day /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

I've never actually brought the links live except for the weather and the booking email - but I am going out this evening with a friend who will do it all for me. My web skills are poor and this guy does it for a living, so it will look good sometime in the next couple of months.

As to the apartment itself, its all up and running and renting out. Its the closed season right now, so we don't have many guests (just one last week) but the weather is a darn sight better than Blighty!

Drove over the Burseldon Bridge at H/W today - the water was right into RK's yard as far as the sheds.

Good ol' BBC Atlantic charts suggest worse on Saturday as SW6 maybe a bit more!
But worse up North!

After the '87 cockup, you think they be more pessimistic wouldn't you? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif
