I mentioned the "pink panther" in one of mine so thats on it's way out, there's the "Nike" adverts in For Sale, but apart from those two I see nothing untoward!
 
I thought my picture contribution may get pulled, but I now see that it's taken a turn for the slightly more focussed rant.

How do you save a whole thread?

Racecruiser thread can t be pulled, as the Mods PM inbox is full, and is bouncing everything - so he wont know about it.....

Fame at my first attempt, but seriously what sort of personal vendetta have I tripped over? And who is this Cliff guy? He must be in need of anger management therapy and I'm glad I have no bio for people like him to track me down!
 
Yes very strange, the Nike advertising posts have been cleared, but not "that" post.

I've got a bad leg, whats your excuse for being on the Forum all day.
 
Looks like it's away now...

I did manage to tear myself away for the open day at Gartmore House, one time home of RB Cunninghame Graham, "Don Roberto". Mildly interesting, although having been in the hands of the army etc, much of the house's earlier, and finer, features have been obliterated. There was nothing really of Don Roberto; hardly surprising as he sold the house the the Cayzer shipping family (Clan Line) in 1900.

It was peeing down while we were there - clear skies and sunshine now.

Tell yus what, I is really pissed off with the "Nanny State" of this forum, this kind of censorship (pulling Cliff's Post etc.) is the worst kind of hypocrisy! I was very offended by the Leggo Steven Hawkin post, but I didn't climb out of me pram over it, I just put posts like that as the ramblings of insensitive twats! There a plenty of those on here who think it's ok to take the piss out of any target they so choose.

But the high handed attitude of the moderators of this forum is beyond a joke. You are a bunch of hypocrits!
 
You have the option of going elsewhere.
There are insult forums where apparently you can see people hang themselves live on cam, and you can root for them doing it!!
If thats what you want of course.
I wasnt aware that sailing or boating is supposed to be a contact sport where you meet up and punch the daylights out of each other.
Its not hypocritical, and if you hit the Notify Moderator button on a post or thread that offends you or infringes the posted Terms and Conditions of this place, the Moderators will go and look and act according to the rules. Thats what Moderators are for.
Of course, you could also apply to be a Moderator.

Even if that post of Cliffs had been in the Lounge, it still would have been way off piste.
