Anual insurance quote, swinging mooring

I paid ~£210 for a sailboat valued £25k on a swinging half tide mooring in Emsworth Pool Apr through Oct, and then on a trailer for the rest of the season. Same price keeping it in Emsworth marina, but then I could keep it in the water all year. Included legal cover at £13. Got a few Quotes all within a fiver. So it sounds like it is reasonable for 365 days a year.

I think it depends where it is located and how exposed the mooring. Mine was a bit exposed in a south westerly with a nasty chop causing continual snatching with the tide in. I would have been worried with some opf the winter gales.

As an aside I used one of those medium size shockle things as a snubber which worked really well and could easily be clipped on and off and adjusted.
