Any reason not to use Mono Ethylene Glycol (35%) with Fleetguard DCA4 supplementary coolant additive to provide corrosion and cavitation protection ?

We use the MEG at work and it seems the major constituent of non OAT antifreezes (for a mid 1980's Volvo Penta).
