We are using Micron Optima, the 2 pack water based one which says do not apply below 5 degs and don't get wet for 24hrs. Micron CSC Extra is solvent based and personally I would worry less about the temperature, though one thing to be wary of is condensation on the keel which could give adhesion problems. This is more of a problem after a cold spell when the large chunk of metal is still cold and any humidity in the air condenses on it leaving a damp film. We are trying to decide if we chance the 1st coat of Optima today (Sunday) before the real cold sets in!
