Bit confused at the range of of products and prices ranging from over£ 100 per 3l (above my means) to £25 (PBO 4star best bargain product). Can anyone advise please? I own 26' sailing cruiser based CYC.

hello john none of it seems to keep the slime that we get in cardiff bay off so i get the cheapest type usually.You will want about 2.5 litres for a coat.Put any left over around the waterline to give a bit more thickness for scrubbing.

Hi John, Grahams right, cheapest you can buy is good, i bought the £25 a tin stuff from Marine scene last winter, it goes on ok if you use a small roller on a stick and seems to offer good protection,when my boat came out all it needed was a power wash to get rid of the slime.
