Its a job I dislike. Not really the applying it more the scraping off all the old crud and growth. My mooring is in a high fouling area. Theres shed loads of growth when the boat comes out if I haven't had a chance to scrub the thing off.

This year I have an idea. The main active ingrediant in antifoul is copper. I see that you can buy copper sulphate on ebay for not a lot of money per kg. If I add this to my a/f will it make it a bit more "potent" do you think?
Or will it just be a hazard to the enviroment?

The active ingredient is usually copper(I) oxide, or in some cases copper(I)thiocyanate
