Has there been a big price increase this season or is it my imagination. £90 per tin seems a bit steep. Why has international UNO suddenly become International 250. Is it the same stuff.

Probably a small change in formulation due to a change in EU regs.
ITYWF that if the formation changes the rules dictate that there must be a change of name.
Similar changes across the range

Not really a sudden change... it seems to have been publicised with the well known chandlers offing special prices on the old range of AFs for some time.

Cannot comment on the price increase. Looks to be about £10 in the RRP

Change in legislation for biocides permitted in anti-fouling means a lot are changing recipes so one can assume the consumer will have to bear that cost, this is also why the name changes have come about for certain brands, yes its the same stuff (apparently) just reformulated to comply with the change

some of the non compliant stuff will need to be shifted before the ban date so could be discounted nearer the time to clear stock who knows, alternatively if people want trusted variants they could be used up and be in demand!

It's worse than I thought. The UNO was one coat for the season. I see the 250 needs 2 or 3 coats. So it's going to cost at least 3 times more than last season.

now that is annoying. I anti foul between tides, so Uno is really the only option. Suggestions...?

It might be connected with the price of copper.

So it's not the same stuff the. I've always found UNO very effective on the Clyde. I've got 2 litres left from last year. When that's done I'm trying some cheap stuff. £90 for a time if 250 and it needs twice as much is taking the pi55
