same stuff as anywhere else. you only really need antifouling in my experience when you are in sea water anyway - so if its used as a weekend cottage, dont bother at all!
now anodes - thats a more difficult issue. the answer seems to be aluminium but no one is that sure.
If you are looking for someone to do it try Chris at Coast2Coast, Based in Portishead but will travel. http://www.coast2coastmarineltd.co.uk/
Nice bloke, very good, reliable and keen prices!
No connection to him, just a satisfied customer.
I keep my boat at CYC and have stopped antifouling. When I take it out, twice a year, I put at least 5 layers of polish just above the waterline and pressure wash below the waterline. I once read on here that fresh water is the best antifoul and it has proved correct on my boat.

Hi
Antifouling is debatable in the basin at Cardiff, form your own opinion. Anodes on the other hand are not. If you are in fresh to brackish water, and venture into salt water even occassionally, Aluminium is the route to take.
