Hi All,

Boat is out of the water having the props and rubber repaired, both are Bronze and prior to re launch I wondered want was the best solution for Anti Foul.

The rudders currently have traditional Anti Foul on them but 1 of the Rudders will be branch new naked Bronze as will the props, not sure which way to go so open to suggestions.

Many thanks

Andy

No full solution to props and sterngear Andy, but the solution that several of us on here use is the TK Aerosol from Force 4. It is not perfect, but certainly helps reduce the pace of fouling.

I wouldn't use 'traditional' antifoul as I thought this could cause corrosion due the copper in the antifoul and the aluminium in the bronze. I've always used the international 'Boot Top' but can't remember if it's called this or something else.

Well there is quite a bit of copper in bronzes, but not a lot of aluminium unless its an aluminium bronze.

I expect you are meaning that you use Trilux 33. I dont tink International do a "boot top" specifically.

Why not use Trilux Prop-O-Drev?
