Sea Jet Shogun or Emperor is very good in the med. My only issue with it is that it's a little soft and errodes quite quickly. Being a cat, you'll probably intend to scrub once or twice and I fear it may be too soft to survive this....
I have used a variety of antifouls in the Med over the past four years. Not sure of the names of all of them, but they have been:
1. A very old tin of Cruiser Superior
2. Screwfix cheap stuff plus a litre of an Italian product sold in Corsica
3. 5 litres of ??? bought in Palma Mallorca, reputedly the highest copper content available.
For the top 8 inches or so I use either Hempels or Blakes hard racing white, which will take scrubbing to remove oily, dirty deposits. Otherwise on the eroding A/F I do no more than wipe any slight fouling off with my hand, as anything more will take it all off.
I have been surprised to find that all have worked reasonably well. The secret seems to be to keep moving, never more than about four days in the same place. I have heard of boats that became so fouled after about a month in Vliho Bay that their propellers would not rotate.
I formally thank the fish for their contribution to my clean hull, which appears to be considerable.
This year I will use the local Greek stuff, which seems to have quite a good reputation. For A/F that is, least said about the environmental the better.
