Antifoul - shelf life

Hello Everyone,
I have an unopened 3 litre tin (and a half full opened tin) of
XM CX 2000 Self Eroding Cruising Antifoul which I estimate I bought in 2003.
Do you think it wil be okay to use?

Slap it on and see at then at the end of the season, or midway through if you can scrub off occasionally, report back.

Blakes told me that their stuff is good for a considerable time after the date stamp

I'll check, but I don't think the tin is date stamped.
I could always ring XM of course.

Tin's on international are date stamped ! the tin i bought last november had a date stamp of 2015. I always store my paints upside down so the solvent can't escape.

Give it a good shake and mix and slape it on /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif may not be as effective as newer stuff but why waste good paint /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

It'll be fine but it will need quite a bit of stirring to get all the solids that will have settled mixed into it again.

Agreed, but with a big question mark over the opened tin.

Especially if it rattles when you shake it!
