Boat is due for antifouling shortly and we'll need to do it over a tide as Siaban is too heavy to be lifted anywhere nearby. Can anyone please recommend an antifoul which is most suitable for immersion a few hours after application. We're in brackish water so don't suffer from heavy growth.

I've done this with Cruiser Uno without problem.

My antifouling of choice at the moment is Akzo-Nobel (ie International) "Nautical", which I selected initially on the basis of cheapness but which also works very well for me on the Clyde. If I choose a nice drying day to apply it - dry, sunny if possible, bit of a breeze - it's dry where I started by the time I've done once round. I am sure it would go on fine between tides.

Just done mine as usual with Hempel Tiger. Tide was round my wellies by the time I finished, I had to go round with the dinghy to get the masking tape off!

No ill effects anyway.
