I see from recent posts that Trilux is probably the best thing to use for antifouling legs. My 290's are less than a season old but were never antifouled before they went in. Still in good condition though, Question is - do I need to prime the legs before I paint with Trilux? No bare metal showing. Any suggestions or tips gratefully received

By mistake I conducted a controlled experiment.
I put spray primer on one leg and ran out of paint so said 'sod it' for the second leg and just put Trilux straight on (and naturally Trilux on the primed surface).
I must say that Trilux did not work particularly well but the result for both legs was the same.
My environment is the Med.
