Hi again Chaps:

I have fitted a Kiwi feathering prop on the boat this winter and would like advice from anyone with similar on what antifoul to use on it, bearing in mind the blades are glass reinforced hi-tech Zytel (in old language Plastic).

Thanks again…. Peter

i too have newly fitted kiwi - was told to put trilux on blades and cone - but be careful not to get any on pitch stops

Yes, Trilux worked very well last year... but not as good as the jotun I had on teh hull. The blades were sort of clean... a few barnacles to cut down on efficiency. The Saildrive was much worse (also with Trilux), so I suppose the Kiwi, but virtue of its rotation, gets cleaned more easily.

Thanks Chaps.
I was hoping for something other than Trilux as I used it on a saildrive leg some years ago and wasn’t impressed with its performance on the East & South coasts, but it might have got better over time???.

Thanks again…………….... Peter
