I all, I have a short time window to relocate by road my 31 foot wooden MFV Dignity from NE Scotland to Thames. She has not been out water for maybe 4 years or more when she was antifouled. The water here is very salty but Thames is only slightly salty. I work on the sea so only come back here for short periods. I can either get her cradled out as is, transport her as is , drop her into Thames and worry about AF her in the summer OR would I be a fool to not beach her now (only option) and try to scrap her off and get some antifoul on her before lowering her into the much less salty Thames?......The timings are depressingly tight on this and if I don't move her now I never will.
