Antifoul masking tape

Any idea how to best get the masking tape off which was left on a few weeks due to the recent WET weather? Dave.

When I had this problem quite few years ago, although I got the tape off I was left with the glue, left it and the salt water soon cleared it. Now I use the Blue tape that last 14days which works fine even in wet weather.

I can recommend a hairdryer. It really does the job. Glue gets a bit 'stringy' as you gently peel off tape, clean this off with 'Sticky Stuff Remover'.
(I have a really cheap and nasty little plastic hairdryer which I use at work for the odd job, usually rely on nature to dry my short-back-and-sides)
I use various tapes for various jobs but for boat stuff I always use the green Frog tape. More expensive but so much better and can be left longer.

Lesson 1. Only use 3m blue. Sorry too late.......

3m also do a sticky stuff remover. Pricey but it works.

Just to mention that it is worth registering with 3M shop bcz recently they keep do free postage; add in they also have aggressive pricing and suddenly just buy a roll of blue tape is cheaper than getting your car out of the garage
