Broker says the new toy was antifouled with Jotun (I think he said "345" if that means anything to anyone) back in early Feb.
Boat has been out of the water ever since and it's been suggested that the paint will no longer be effective and needs to be redone - at a price!

What does anyone think? I know some paints are time sensitive but is this really an issue?

It tends to depend on the brand of paint and, in some cases, the ambient air temperature. Most time sensitive paints that I have seen suggest that, in the UK, you should launch the boat within 3 months of application (quicker in hot climates). If so, it's probably borderline in this case and I'd be tempted to suck it and see. If re-antifouling was suggested by the surveyor, s/he may be covering his/her nether regions................
