Antifoul for Scottish west coast

Last year for my first season on West Coat of Scotland (Dunstaffnage) I had Blakes Tiger Xtra and had a fair bit of fouling. This year I was going to try Cruiser Uno but see in this months PBO that they recommend Micron Optima as its a 'high fouling area'. Interested in any local owners experience of what works best or is it just luck? Conflicting views so far. Thanks for any advice, Simon
 
I get different types of growth on my copper epoxy from year to year and also depending if I am in Stromness or Kirkwall marina (both in Orkney Islands) so your best bet is probably to ask around the boat owners where you moor yours.
 
I have used Cruiser Uno during the past two summers on the West Coast and have been very pleased with the results. (compared to the stuff I have used previously in the same area).
 
I am based at Dunstaffnage. Although I only purchased my boat (Rosally) in November and I haven't even had her in the water yet, I know that she was previously Anti Fouled with Cruiser Uno and was in pretty good shape when she was lifted out. Also, I believe Alba Sailing may use it for their charter fleet.
I am about to use it again.

Our boat is at Dunstaffnage, based there for the last 2 seasons. We have used Cruiser Uno - as advised by Alba Sailing. Apart from the usual end of season slime, there has been no build up of any growth.

I sail the whole of the west coast and use the cheap stuff, Seago, etc. No problems, although I probably spend more time than average on the move. Retired, you see. Duncan's in Glasgow do good anti-fouling deals.
 
I was based at Dunstaffnage for several years and used several different types of self-eroding antifoul, International, XM, Flag, Blakes etc - whatever was the cheapest I could get at the time.

I can honestly say that none was any better or worse than the others and at the end of each season fouling was minimal - jet wash on lift out and that was it. So, must be a low fouling area.
