antifoul colour

I have just bought a tin of Navy cruiser Uno - my problem is that when I look at the existing antifoul Im not sure if it should have been the blue colour !

So my question is does the navy lighten once applied & in water - which would make sense

Always goes much lighter blue after its been applied for a season especially after a few months ashore, seems to have "bleached". You will find that applying the navy on top of the now lighter blue aids the application, you can see how well its covered.

Some do and some don't.
I suggest speaking to the manufacturers if it is important.
