anti fowl now or scrub?

my "new" GRP boat has been in the water for two months with unknown eroding anti-fowl.
it is now fowled impressively with green weed, Colne estuary, swinging mooring.
should i scrub and leave it till the winter - novemberish, or should i scrub and anit-fowl??

depends whether you have a problem with fowl landing on your boat. /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

usually, most fouling happens before the end of June, so if you just scrub now you should be ok to antifoul in the spring.

Scrub, but don't anti foul. We're getting towards the point (end August) where the growing season winds down. We are at Mersea, and the fouling hasn't been too bad apart from waterline green weed. We hauledout and power washed end July, mainly due to prop fouling, and things still seem fine.

odd, the human brain. I can remember the spelling drilled into me at school years ago, but I can't remember people's names for the life of me. have to recall the members of our club by the name of their boat. and quite often forget that too.
