Anti-fouling?

Is it best to anti-foul the boat just before she goes back in or a few weeks before? I have heard that it should not be applied and then left for months in the open air. Is the one coat stuff such as Uno any good. Ta.

It all depends on the type and brand of antifouling, e.g. VC17m can be applied months before going in again, whereas some (most?) of the self-eroding types need to be applied max a few days before.
Check what you want/need and then with your chanlder...
