Hi
We are thinking of Antifouling using CopperCoat see

http://www.coppercoat.com/

Financially on paper it looks like the a good deal I.E. 5 seasons of use for one application. Just wondered whether anybody has tried it and has any experience of the product.

Any help gratefully received.

I copper coated my 28' boat last year. At the end of the season I had a few minor problems with blisters. Little soft spots which burst when you pressed your nail into them. I thought the worst, osmoses but happy days they were caused by a lack of drying before application of the coat. I was pleased with the result but I found some of the copper was just as I had applied it and there was no change of colour and no degregation. I have been told this year to give the copper a quick rub with fine sand paper before I launch.
The staff in Coppercoat were great and always were able to help with any question.
