Our white hand held flares were replaced last year by Pains Wessex after that terrible accident. They were replaced by Comet WHH (Comet is part of PW). The Comet flares are in a sealed poly bag, where I have left them. They come to the cockpit when we sail. I have a knife near them, for other safety reasons.
