Anti and Foul it is indeed

Just finished preparing the hull (ie sanding down the old Antifoul) masking tape to the line and then painting on the first coat of antifoul. This is the first time I have done this and I know why it is called Anti Foul..................................... I am anti the Job and it certainly is a foul job.

Just the second coat to go on tomorrow. It claims that if you put on 2 coats it will last 2 years ................ Your opinions on this would be appreciated. It is Seajet 033 Shogun

I would say the lasting-qualities are entirely dependednt on area characteristics and mileage travelled each year.
Mine has lasted two years up here, but last year I hardly got round Britain - the weed was eight inches long after only 11 weeks and 1850 nm..
The fouling really started somewhere up the east coast (went anti-clockwise)

Others of this parish may have confirmatory or conflicting views...............

It is a lot easier a job at 15 degrees. ..
