I know this sounds like a odd question but please bear with me. What surface is underneath the carpet? Is it plain fibreglass gelcoat or dare I hope teak? I'm only asking because I hate, abhor and loathe carpets.

I think you'll find it's a combination of solid grp floor, grp engine hatch and ply bilge hatches

It's cross hatched gelcoat GRP. Mostly two large engine hatches, we had ours done in teat which is much nicer than the carpets, she's on the market now if anybody's looking for a nice one owner one.
