Please bear with me, as I am not very computer literate.

I have carefully followed the instructions, and have managed to get this year's Antares Charts, first onto the PC and then onto my Android Tablet. I do this every year. To avoid having duplication, it is first necessary or at least advisable to delete all of last year's Antares Charts. I access them through Memory Map, on which I also have dozens of BA Charts.

Now I deleted each of last year's charts individually and laboriously, with three clicks for each chart. I'm sure there must be a way of deleting them all at once. Any advice please?

Can you not select all? Either ctrl+a or just click/drag with the mouse.
Or delete the whole folder?

I'm sure I could do that on a PC, but the problem is the Tablet.

When the tablet is connected to the PC (to transfer the new files to the tablet), use File Explorer on the PC to delete the old file folder on the tablet. I'm sure there are other ways but that seems the most obvious since you have to connect to the PC to transfer the files.

Ah, that makes sense. Thanks for that. I'll find out in a year's time. :D

Yes connect the Android tablet to the PC using a USB cable, and can manage the files and folders just as if any other USB drive.

BUT. Before deleting folders, make sure you stop to think what other MemoryMap files you might have. Don't delete your Admiralty charts, or OS maps by accident!
The iPad is a bit more of a phaff as need to go through the iTunes and sync routine, but still reasonably quick. But the iPad doesn't seem to use separate folders so I had to be careful to avoid the BA series files when deleting the 2016 ones

Alternatively download a file manager e.g. es file explorer, onto your tablet and erase individual files or folders just like you do on your pc.
