Greetings, all.
I fitted a pair of Antal self-tailers last year and I find that the retaining circlip keeps working free when in use. I have replaced the circlip with new and checked installation but the problem continues. Anyone have this problem or can suggest a cure?

Thanks

Kate

I have installed apair of those on my coachroof, size 30.2

I did have a bit of an issue at first as the ring is thin and does need to be wiggled into engagement all the way round. I have had no problem since, even taking them apart each year for servicing.

Phone the very helpful agents if you have a problem.....

Do you have the correct angle of approach for the sheet leading to the winch? while fitting winches some time ago I noticed if the angle was greater than that recommended ( 5-10 degrees in my case) the sheet caused an upward force on the drum. I was playing about with various winch positions in the cockpit at the time.

Hi
I have the same problem on a new Sadler 290 on 3 of the winches! I've "encouraged" then home and worked them around to ensure they are fully home but the problem seems to keep happening. I've just e-mailed the dealers, did you find a solution?
Regards, Mike
