Ok.... so where is it? The mountain range in the background reaches over 5,000 feet and the closest mountain you can see which is not quite 2 miles from the marina is over 4,000 feet high, so in real life quite awesome!

Here is a further view from an unusual viewpoint.

The earlier view is from the marina which is just outside the picture on the extreme left looking towards the mountain just beyond the right hand border of the picture.... now you can see the harbour and the town.... so in effect, you are seeing everything between the marina and the mountain on the original piccy. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Mmm. Pictures of the location tell me nothing, but looking at the cross on the jet trainer sort of points me to Malta. But then again, the roundels on wing and fuselage could be those that have been used by the Royal Canadian Air Force but I cannot tell what emblem is in the centre.

Looks like a clue is required.... the jet is a Greek military jet trainer about to land just outside the picture to the top left, a few miles outside the town.

Probably an older one. In my effort to win another prize , I did some Googling on air force roundels and got the following.........

Greek Air Force and

Royal Canadian Air Force.
