The sender unit has dropped off and now lives in the bottom of the tank :(
Any ideas of where I can get a new one. Picture below of the remaining bit of the old sender. The screw in the middle is where the wires used to go on the old sender and I've put the screw in to stop the water getting out.

Thanks

Kevin.

Having done a bit of searching on the web it seems all the info on top of the sender is maker and certifications but no model so I guess I'll have to do some tank measuring...

Come on Kev, cant you re post it inviting suggestions on how to recover the sender , this could be as entertaining as a what next skip, only with a limitation to the amount of rope that can be used ;)

Or if you feel you have already made exhaustive attempts to recover......come on spill the beans :)

You should be able to retrieve it out of the tank with a piece of wire, its probrably floating around, not sure what your tanks are like but you will usually have baffles so sender shouldnt be too far away from the hole, might be awkward but best to get it out, what make is the guage? you may be able to get a better quality sender if compatible.
