I have a spare prop that came with the boat. Stock size is 21" pitch, but my boat has a 19" pitch on at the moment.
The boat is currently underpropped as it hits redline (4500) on the tach at 3/4 throttle and 33 knots.
I tried the spare thinking it to be a 21", but the engine will only pull 3500 at WOT and 30 knots.
Overpropped a tad thinks I, so I swapped it for the 19" one again today.
What is this spare prop pitch? the only stampings on it are: 6V/2/36
Hope it is a big prop pitch and not small engine power output, although the engine compressions etc. all check out ok.
She gets on plane in around 3 seconds with the 19p prop, so does not seem to be a power issue.
