Interesting that you remarked that all the trees on the beach are dead.
The Caribbean islands are suffering from a virus that attacks coconut trees and kills them.

The 40+ year old coconut tree in this picture at my parent's house

is now tall a dead stump having died from the virus and the head has fallen off.

The virus can be treated, at a cost US$3.00 per tree every 3 months, and you cannot use the fruit. If you have a few hundred trees is quickly mounts up.

Looks vile; sea state looks completely uninviting; clearly there's gonna be a vicious punch up at each of those bars and as for that weather...why, why on earth would you ever wanna subject yourself to that all the live long day??!!! Still...I will flight out and have a rum with you just to help you over your depression!
